Mental Strength Matters
Mental Strength Matters’ focuses on the importance of mental strength for youth in all kinds of sports. The initiative consists of videos and interviews of athletes and para-athletes across a wide variety of sports who have shared their view on mental strength and how it has helped them overcome obstacles to get where they are today. I feel that this is a subject that has not been touched upon with the due importance that it requires. Hopefully, soon enough, we can see the emergence of Mental Strength in school curriculums and college education. Even though my project is just a drop in the ocean, I would love for it to be impactful and hope that many more efforts come up in order to keep this topic growing.
MSM Book
‘M.S.M Diaries’ is a collection of stories based on the interviews of various elite athletes from multiple disciplines. It aims to inculcate and foster the concept of mental strength in young readers by sharing instances where seasoned athletes have overcome various challenges by harnessing their mental strength with the use of various techniques .
Mental Strength Matters Conference
With the advent of the pandemic, communal gatherings have become unfavourable, to say the least, thus webinars have become a pivotal stop-gap in building a sense of community and culture within the movement. These webinars have been co-hosted by seasoned coaches to sports psychologists, thanks to the help of organization’s like KIOC, Omtex, NIMHANS and The department for youth empowerment and sports – Karnataka. M.S.M has pioneered a discussion emphasizing the significance of Mental strength in the early stages of development of young athletes.
Response and Impact
Mental strength matters has evolved from its conception as a simple social media page to help young athletes to a campaign championing the importance of mental strength in the lives of individuals. M.S.M has touched hundreds of thousands of lives in a hope to empower and inspire as many people as possible. M.S.M has worked with numerous news outlets to spread the message on a grassroot level by publishing articles in both print and digital in regional languages to sustain and develop a multifaceted approach to raise awareness.

I have always been focused on my sport and on my studies. I find a sense of satisfaction in having my game plan ready. I am always committed to putting in my full effort, even if it means finishing an assignment well before the deadline. From an early age, my life has revolved around cricket. My passion for the game was ignited by watching my father coach and play when I was barely four years old. Cricket has helped me start many conversations and forge many bonds, while giving me the opportunity to meet a wide range of people with different personalities and from different backgrounds.
